Subaru Levorg CV Joint Service Malaysia
The Levorg VN's Symmetrical AWD system means all four wheels have halfshafts with CV (constant velocity) joints — both front and rear. CV joints allow the driveshaft to articulate through suspension travel and steering angles while maintaining smooth power delivery. A torn CV boot allows grease to escape and contamination to enter, leading to joint failure. Inspect CV boots at every service; a clicking sound during tight turns or vibration under load suggests a worn CV joint. Replacing a torn boot early is far less expensive than replacing the whole joint.

Subaru Levorg CV Joint
- Levorg CV joints: FA20DIT AWD wagon; 4-wheel CV joints; family driving means less aggressive CV stress than WRX; inspect boots at 60,000 km; loaded Levorg on highway is gentler on CVs than WRX track use
- Levorg rear CV: rear CVs on heavy loaded wagon — inspect rear boots especially if Levorg is regularly loaded to capacity; rear outer boots may crack from wagon body weight cyclic loading
- Levorg tyre matching: all 4 tyres same size and brand essential for AWD health on Levorg; mismatched tyres in family car context lead to AWD binding that damages both CVs and AWD clutch; do not mix old and new tyres
