Subaru Levorg Computer Diagnostic Malaysia
The Levorg VN is equipped with multiple ECUs governing the CB18 engine, Lineartronic CVT, AWD system, EyeSight Gen4, and safety systems. When dashboard warning lights appear, a full OBD-II or preferably Subaru-specific SSM (Subaru Select Monitor) diagnostic scan is required to read fault codes accurately across all modules. Generic OBD-II readers may not access EyeSight or AWD fault codes. Using a Subaru-specialist workshop or dealer with SSM access is recommended for comprehensive diagnostics.

Subaru Levorg Computer Diagnostic
- Levorg diagnostic: FA20DIT ECU, EyeSight DSS, CVT, AWD, and Lineartronic controller — multiple modules requiring SSM4 for complete diagnosis; Levorg EyeSight calibration codes cannot be read or cleared with generic tools
- Levorg EyeSight diagnosis: if EyeSight warning on Levorg, use SSM4 to identify: camera calibration drift, camera obstructions, or radar distance sensor faults; many EyeSight warnings are cleared by a proper recalibration
- Levorg CVT diagnostic: Lineartronic CVT faults read with SSM4; slipping CVT, overheating codes, and pressure control faults are diagnosable with SSM4; CVT fluid condition also checkable via live data
- Levorg carbon buildup diagnostic: FA20DIT rough idle on Levorg — use SSM4 live data to check fuel trim; positive long-term fuel trim above +10% on Levorg indicates lean condition from carbon-restricted intake valves; confirms walnut blasting need
