Case 1 — CVT Fluid Preventive Service (Levorg VN, 38,000 km): A proactive Levorg owner from Petaling Jaya brought in his VN for CVT fluid service before the 40,000 km mark after reading about Lineartronic CVT maintenance. The drained Lineartronic CVTF HT II fluid showed mild discolouration consistent with normal use — no metal particles were found. The owner was advised to continue this interval schedule. The launch gear mechanism and CVT operation were confirmed smooth on a test drive. Case 2 — CB18 Carbon Intake Cleaning (Levorg VN, 82,000 km): A Subang Jaya owner noticed slightly rough idling and marginally higher fuel consumption on his Levorg VN at 82,000 km. A diagnostic scan showed no active faults. Following our recommendation for direct-injection engines, a walnut blasting intake cleaning was performed on the CB18.
