Subaru Forester Control Arm & Ball Joint Malaysia
The Subaru Forester SJ (2013–2018) and SK (2019+) are popular AWD SUVs in Malaysia using the FB25 2.

Subaru Forester Suspension Arm
- Forester SJ/SK front lower control arm: rubber bushing failure common at 80,000–120,000 km; symptoms include clunking over speed bumps and rough roads, pulling on braking, and vague steering; confirm bushing condition by lifting front on jack and checking arm movement
- Forester control arm replacement: replace full control arm (arm + bushing as assembly) rather than bushing only; bushing-only replacement requires press tool and is labour-intensive; full arm replacement faster and ensures new geometry; use OEM or Mevotech/Meyle replacement arms
- Forester AWD alignment after arm: 4-wheel alignment is mandatory after any control arm replacement on Forester; AWD suspension geometry affects tyre wear and AWD torque distribution; do not skip alignment — worn control arm geometry causes premature tyre edge wear and AWD binding
