Nissan Kicks Engine Oil Malaysia — HR16DE 0W-20
Both standard and e-Power Kicks use the HR16DE 1.6L engine requiring 0W-20 full synthetic oil, approximately 3.7L capacity with filter. On the e-Power, the HR16DE runs as a generator and may operate at different load cycles than a conventional car — oil quality is equally important. Change at 10,000 km or 6 months whichever comes first. Nissan-approved SN/SP grade 0W-20; avoid 10W-40 or mineral grades which will increase engine wear and reduce fuel efficiency on this modern engine.
