Nissan Kicks Coolant Malaysia — HR16DE Long-Life
Kicks uses Nissan long-life coolant. First change at 60,000 km or 4 years, then every 2 years. On e-Power, the HV battery has a separate liquid cooling circuit — inspect HV battery coolant level separately if accessible (some e-Power variants have a sealed HV cooling circuit serviced at Nissan authorised workshops only). HR16DE coolant: thermostat and water pump are generally reliable on this engine. Never top up with tap water — use distilled water or pre-mixed coolant.
