Pajero Sport in Malaysia: QE generation (2016–2019) introduced the 4N15 2.4L MIVEC diesel with 8-speed AT on top variants, replacing the older 4D56 2.5L diesel. QF facelift (2019–present) updated the front fascia, interior, and added safety features (AEB, BSM on higher variants). Both QE and QF share the same 4N15 engine and Super Select 4WD-II drivetrain — spare parts are interchangeable. Earlier-generation Pajero Sports (pre-QE) used the 4D56 diesel, which is a completely different engine. Focus maintenance content on the QE/QF 4N15.
