Pajero Sport 4N15 diesel: 5W-30 fully synthetic, API CJ-4 minimum (API CK-4 preferred), approximately 7.5L with filter. Change every 10,000 km. The VGT turbocharger is oil-feed dependent — incorrect or degraded oil accelerates turbo wear significantly. Use diesel-spec oil only; petrol-grade oil lacks the soot-handling additives required by the 4N15. Quality brands (Castrol Magnatec Diesel, Shell Rotella T6, Petronas Diesel) are all acceptable alternatives to genuine Mitsubishi oil.
