Mercedes-Benz E-Class Computer Diagnostic Malaysia — XENTRY Scan
E-Class has over 40 electronic control modules. Only XENTRY (or compatible) diagnostic tools can read them all. When to run a full scan and what common fault codes mean for Malaysian E-Class owners.

The W213 E-Class has over 50 ECUs — more than the W205 C-Class. XENTRY or compatible Mercedes-specific tools are required for any meaningful diagnosis. Generic OBD2 scanners can access fewer than 20% of the car's ECUs.
Common W213 electronic faults in Malaysia
- AIRMATIC pressure sensor faults after prolonged parking in sun (heat expanding the sensor housing)
- Blind Spot Assist radar sensor fault — common after any rear parking knock
- MBUX infotainment system crash or black screen (software issue, often resolved by system update via XENTRY)
Diagnostic scan at 4M Car Care: RM 80–150 for full-system XENTRY scan. Fee waived if repair work proceeds. We recommend a full scan before purchasing any used E-Class.
