Mercedes-Benz E-Class Air-Con Service Malaysia
E-Class air conditioning uses dual-zone or 4-zone climate control. Cabin filter replacement every 15,000 km, refrigerant top-up and evaporator cleaning are essential in Malaysia's year-round heat.

The E-Class features dual-zone (W212) or multi-zone (W213) climate control with rear vent controls. The larger cabin requires more refrigerant charge and a larger evaporator — but the service process is the same as C-Class.
Refrigerant types
- W212 (pre-2016): R-134a refrigerant
- W213 (2016+): R-1234yf refrigerant — more expensive, requires specialist equipment
Malaysia-specific recommendations
Replace the cabin air filter every 10,000 km (not 15,000 km as per the schedule) in Malaysian conditions. Annual refrigerant pressure check and evaporator fogging treatment prevent musty smells and maintain cooling performance. Cost at 4M Car Care: cabin filter RM 100–180; refrigerant check + top-up RM 120–220; evaporator fog treatment RM 80–150.
