Mercedes-Benz A-Class Computer Diagnostic Malaysia — XENTRY Scan
A-Class W177 MBUX system and multiple ECUs require XENTRY for full diagnostics. Common fault codes: DCT adaptation required, airbag sensor faults, TPMS errors. When to run a scan in Malaysia.

The A-Class W177 has over 30 individual ECUs covering engine, 7DCT gearbox, ABS/ESP, AIRMATIC (if fitted), airbags, EPS, COMAND, camera systems and more. A generic OBD2 reader can only access the engine ECU and ABS — the remaining 28+ ECUs are invisible to it.
Why XENTRY Is Required
- XENTRY is Mercedes-Benz's OEM diagnostic platform — the only tool that reads all ECUs, performs adaptations and controls actuators
- EPB service (rear brake pad replacement caliper retraction) requires XENTRY
- IBS coding after battery replacement requires XENTRY
- 7DCT adaptation reset after fluid change benefits from XENTRY
- ASSYST Plus service reset requires XENTRY or specific reset procedure
Scan Cost at 4M Car Care
A full XENTRY scan covering all ECUs costs RM 150–200. This is always our starting point for any A-Class fault — identifying which system has a code prevents unnecessary parts replacement. Bring the car in whenever the warning light appears, rather than waiting for the next service.
