BR-V 1.5L i-VTEC uses NGK IZFR6K-11 iridium plugs — same as the Jazz GK5 and HR-V RU. Port injection keeps the combustion chamber cleaner, so plugs last well.
Replacement interval and cost
Replace every 80,000–100,000 km. Signs of worn plugs: rough idle, cold-start hesitation, slight fuel economy drop. The BR-V engine bay is similar to the Jazz — plug access from above. Cost: RM260–360 for 4 plugs including labour.
