Air Suspension — G05
The G05 X5 with optional air suspension raises comfort but raises repair bills significantly. Air suspension compressor failures are common at 80,000–100,000 km — the compressor runs every time the car adjusts ride height. In Malaysia, the heat in the engine bay degrades the compressor faster. If one corner of the X5 sags overnight or the car always sits at maximum low, the compressor or air bag is failing. Diagnosis requires ISTA to read air suspension module fault history.
