BMW X5 Air Filter Malaysia — F15/G05
X5 air filter in large intake box — replace every 20,000–30,000 km in Malaysia. N55 filter RM 100–180; N63 V8 has two air filters RM 180–300 (pair); B58 G05 filter RM 100–180. Cold-air intake upgrade for N55/B58 popular — dyno-proven +10–15hp gains but verify CBS compatibility.

Air Filter — F15/G05
- F15 N55: dual intake — one filter per bank, RM 150–250 total
- F15 N63: two filters, RM 200–350 total
- G05 B58: single filter, RM 100–180
- Malaysia interval: every 20,000–30,000 km
N63 Dual Filter — Elevated Service Cost
The N63 twin-turbo V8 has a filter for each cylinder bank — two filters per oil service. This is one of the many small factors that make the N63 the most expensive engine to maintain. Genuine BMW filters are recommended — aftermarket filters for the N63 have variable quality and a failed filter element on a high-consumption engine is catastrophic.
