Brembo Discs — X5 M Sport
The F15 xDrive50i M Sport uses large Brembo 6-piston front calipers. These calipers are excellent at managing heat from the heavy SUV — but the rotors are expensive. If you see blue heat marks on the disc surface or feel pulsation under braking, the discs are warped from extreme heat. On an X5 50i, this typically happens when the car is driven at sustained high speed on a highway then immediately parked — heat cannot dissipate properly. After spirited driving, do a few slow passes to cool the brakes before parking.
