BMW X5 Cabin Filter Malaysia — Every 15,000 km
X5 cabin filter in dash — replace every 15,000 km in Malaysia. Activated-carbon filter strongly recommended given Malaysia air quality. F15 filter RM 100–180; G05 RM 120–200. Rear cabin has separate duct — ensure main filter is fully sealed. Malaysia cost RM 100–200.

Cabin Filter — F15/G05
- Location: under dashboard passenger side
- Malaysia interval: every 15,000 km
- Activated-carbon filter recommended: RM 150–250
- X5 cabin filter is the largest in BMW range — do not use X3 filter
Large Cabin = More Important Filter Maintenance
The X5 has one of the largest cabin volumes of any non-van BMW — 7-seat models in particular circulate more air. A blocked cabin filter in the X5 causes the A/C system to work harder (shortening compressor life) and reduces airflow to rear passengers significantly. In Malaysia's haze season, the filter can load up in as little as 10,000 km — change annually during peak haze months.
