Warped brake discs cause steering wheel vibration that pulses with wheel rotation, most noticeable when braking from highway speeds. It's one of the most common Vios complaints past 60,000 km.
Resurface or Replace?
If the disc is above minimum thickness (17mm for Vios front discs), resurfacing costs RM 60–100 per disc. If at or near minimum thickness, replacement is correct — new aftermarket discs cost RM 100–180 each. Always replace discs in pairs.
