Toyota Sienta Battery Replacement Malaysia

Sienta hybrid: 12V auxiliary battery (under bonnet) and HV hybrid battery are separate. 12V battery: replace every 3–5 years, RM 200–380. HV battery: 150,000–200,000 km, RM 5,000–15,000 (used cells available). 12V failure disables the hybrid system — do not neglect.

Sienta 12V battery: 38Ah–45Ah. Replace every 3–4 years in Malaysian heat. NHP170 hybrid owners must prioritise 12V battery health — a flat 12V prevents the hybrid system from initialising.
