Toyota Sienta Engine Oil Guide Malaysia
2NZ-FE petrol uses 5W-30 at 3.7L; 1NZ-FXE hybrid uses 5W-30 at 3.7L. Both are port injection — oil quality determines intake cleanliness.
Sienta NHP170 hybrid uses 0W-20 — same as Corolla Cross Hybrid and C-HR. NCP175 petrol uses 5W-30. Never substitute oil grades — wrong viscosity in the hybrid engine increases VVT-i wear and reduces fuel economy.
Oil Recommendations
- NHP170 hybrid: Toyota Genuine 0W-20 or Mobil 1 0W-20 — first choice
- NCP175 petrol: Toyota Genuine 5W-30 Full Synthetic or Shell Helix Ultra 5W-30
