Toyota Sienta Alternator Malaysia
Sienta hybrid: the MG1 motor-generator partially replaces alternator function — regenerative braking charges the 12V system. Conventional alternator still present. Malaysia replacement RM 400–900. Alternator fault on hybrid: check hybrid system fault codes first.
NCP175 petrol has a standard 80A Denso alternator. NHP170 hybrid uses DC-DC converter (no alternator). For the petrol variant, inspect alternator at 100,000 km.

- NCP175 alternator replacement: RM 600–1,000 installed
- NHP170 DC-DC converter: RM 1,500–2,500 if failed — rare; diagnose 12V drain before assuming DC-DC fault
