Toyota C-HR Oil Leak Guide Malaysia
Valve cover gasket and crankshaft front seal are the most common C-HR leak points. TNGA layout makes some repairs more involved.
C-HR 2ZR-FXE oil leaks are uncommon before 100,000 km. The most common point is the valve cover gasket, followed by the VVT-i solenoid O-rings. Small seeps are acceptable; active drips or burning oil smell warrant immediate inspection.
Oil Leak Repair
- Valve cover gasket replacement: RM 150–250 parts + RM 100–150 labour
- VVT-i solenoid O-ring: RM 30–60 parts + RM 60–100 labour — common on higher mileage units
