Battery drain and charge warning light are the early alternator failure signs on Altis. High-mileage E140 is most at risk.
Altis alternator is a Denso 100A–130A unit — very reliable, rarely fails before 150,000 km. Check at 100,000 km service. ZWE186 hybrid uses DC-DC converter (no traditional alternator).
