The WRX 100,000 km service is a comprehensive overhaul covering engine, transmission, and drivetrain systems. Key items include fresh engine oil and filter, transmission fluid, spark plug replacement, throttle body cleaning, air and cabin filter swap, full brake system inspection, CV boot check, and a complete suspension and bushing inspection. For FA20DIT-powered VA models, a walnut blast carbon clean is strongly recommended at this stage if not done earlier. - WRX 100k service: oil (5W-40 full synthetic), iridium plugs (FA20DIT — confirm plugs were done at 60k), coolant flush, brake fluid, CVT fluid or manual gearbox oil, CV boots, air filter
- WRX 100k turbo inspection: at 100k on WRX — inspect turbo for shaft play; grab turbo shaft and check radial and axial play; minor play normal; excessive play means bearings failing; also inspect TMIC for oil contamination from PCV
- WRX 100k hoses: replace coolant; inspect all turbo coolant hoses and oil feed/return lines for wear; rubber hoses on FA20DIT can degrade at 100k; intercooler hose clamps should be checked for looseness — boost leaks appear at high mileage
