Malaysia's haze season (June–October) and urban pollution make cabin filter replacement more important than the standard schedule. During API >100 haze events, consider changing every 10,000 km. For X50/X70/X90, the cabin filter location varies — check the owner's manual. Activated carbon cabin filters (RM 60–120) better handle Malaysia's fine particulate and VOC pollution vs standard cellulose filters (RM 25–50).
