- Every 5,000 km: engine oil + filter (5W-30 SN)
- Every 40,000 km: Punch CVT fluid — use only Punch-spec fluid, not Toyota WS
- Every 60,000 km: timing belt + tensioner + water pump — CRITICAL

Malaysia's heat and stop-start city traffic degrade engine oil faster than the manual's maximum interval. For Saga/Persona with the 1.3L VVT, stick to 5,000 km. For X50/X70/X90 with the 1.5T TGDI turbo, 5,000 km is critical — turbo heat destroys degraded oil faster. The timing belt on the Saga/Persona/Exora is the single most important scheduled item — never exceed 60,000 km.
