Used Exora checklist: CONFIRM it's 6AT (not CVTi). Timing belt service record (60,000 km). Oil history (5W-30 turbo spec, 5,000 km). Power steering: check for leak + fluid level. A/C: test rear vents. Front arm bushing: check for knock. OBD scan. Engine oil sludge check (dipstick).
- CVTi or 6AT? — always choose 6AT; check gear selection smooth in all ranges
- OBD scan: ATF temp, CVTi codes (if applicable), A/C compressor fault
- Sliding doors: open/close fully in auto mode — track blockage is common
- Cold start: no rattle beyond 5–10 seconds (chain tensioner check)
- ATF history: changed at 40,000 km? Rough shifts = neglected ATF

For X50/X70/X90: (1) Check 7DCT operation — smooth gear changes with no shudder; (2) Verify all ADAS systems working (AEB test at low speed); (3) Confirm DCT fluid was changed. For all models: verify service history at a Proton SC using the chassis number.
