Proton Exora (2009+): CVTi (early variants) unreliable — jerk and slip at 60,000+ km. 6AT variants much better. 1.6T CFE engine: port injection, so NO carbon buildup on intake valves. Power steering rack leak at high mileage. A/C compressor failure common on high-mileage 7-seater use. Suspension: front lower arm bushings at 80,000 km. Aging platform — parts still available but fewer options than newer Protons.
