718 982 top issues: 2.0L/2.5L flat-four direct injection carbon buildup at 60,000–80,000 km (walnut blast required), PDK shudder from neglected fluid, intermediate shaft bearing (IMS) — NOT an issue on 982 (only 986/987). Turbo intercooler condensation on 2.0L: water in intake at cold start is normal. GT4 4.0L NA: no carbon issue but check valve stem seals at high mileage.
