Lower-spec Myvi variants use halogen reflector housings — LED retrofits require a projector housing to be JPJ-legal. Higher trims (AV) come with LED projectors as standard.

- Gen3 1.3L G: projector headlights standard — upgrade to LED bulbs for brighter beam
- Gen3 1.5L H: full LED headlights standard — already excellent
- Aftermarket LED upgrades: use quality fan-cooled type — poor LEDs cause condensation issues in Myvi's sealed headlamp units
