Perodua Diagnostic Tools — Malaysia
Perodua vehicles use a proprietary diagnostic system accessible through Perodua Service Centres. Independent workshops use generic OBD-II scanners, which read generic fault codes but miss Perodua-specific sub-codes (especially for the D-CVT, ASA, and VSC systems). For accurate diagnosis of D-CVT shudder, ASA camera errors, or ABS/VSC faults, a Perodua Service Centre scan is recommended. Generic OBD-II is fine for engine codes (P0XXX series).
