Perodua Myvi Carbon Buildup — Minimal
Myvi NR-VE: port injection — very low carbon risk. Regular 5,000 km oil changes keep the engine clean. No walnut blast needed. Simpler combustion design than VW EA888.
Myvi 1.3L and 1.5L NR-VE use port fuel injection — fuel washes the intake valves on every cycle. Carbon buildup on intake valves is NOT a concern for the Myvi. Throttle body cleaning every 40,000 km is sufficient.
