The Serena C27 uses Nissan NS-3 CVT fluid. Being a 7-seat MPV typically used with full loads, the CVT works harder than in a sedan — prioritise the 40,000 km change interval. When changing, do a proper drain-and-fill (not just top-up): Serena CVT holds approximately 8–9L total, but a single drain-and-fill replaces about 5L. Two cycles within the same service maximises fresh fluid ratio.
