4A91 1.5L MIVEC: 0W-20 fully synthetic (recommended) or 5W-30 synthetic, approximately 3.5L with filter. Mitsubishi recommends 0W-20 SN/SP grade. Change every 10,000 km. The 4A91 is naturally aspirated — less demanding on oil than a turbo, but using quality synthetic still protects the timing chain. At high mileage with internal wear, 5W-30 provides slightly better film strength. Never use mineral or 10W-40.
