Case 1 — CVT Shudder from Neglected Fluid: A 2015 Mitsubishi ASX GA3W with 95,000 km came to 4M Car Care with complaints of a noticeable shudder between 30–50 km/h, especially on light acceleration. Diagnostic scan showed no critical codes but CVT fluid inspection revealed dark, degraded fluid — last changed at 40,000 km. The fluid was drained and refilled with Mitsubishi CVTF J1 equivalent. After the service and a short adaptation period, the shudder resolved completely. The owner was advised on a 40,000 km CVT fluid change cycle going forward. Case 2 — Throttle Body Carbon & Rough Idle: A 2017 ASX with 72,000 km visited 4M Car Care with persistent rough idle and hesitation on light throttle. The throttle body was inspected and found to have significant carbon deposit buildup. A full throttle body cleaning was performed; idle quality and throttle response improved immediately. The owner also had the cabin filter and air filter replaced in the same visit. Case 3 — High-Mileage Engine Mount & Suspension Audit: A 2013 ASX GA3W with 148,000 km was brought in for a vibration complaint felt at idle and during acceleration. Full inspection revealed two worn engine mounts and deteriorated front lower arm bushes. Both engine mounts were replaced and front lower bushes renewed; the vibration was eliminated and wheel alignment was rechecked post-repair. The CVT fluid, last changed at 100,000 km, was also renewed preventively. Case 4 — ABS Warning Light & Wheel Speed Sensor: A 2016 ASX GA6W presented with an ABS warning light that came on intermittently. Diagnostic scanning at 4M Car Care identified a fault code for the left rear wheel speed sensor. Inspection found the sensor wire had minor chafing damage near the wheel arch. The sensor and wiring were replaced; the ABS warning light cleared and the system was confirmed operational with a road test.
