Mercedes Coolant — Malaysia Maintenance
Mercedes-Benz uses MB 325.6 coolant (pink/blue OAT type) — do NOT mix with conventional green coolant, which causes corrosion in the aluminium engine and coolant system. Check the coolant level monthly in Malaysia's heat. Flush every 3 years or 60,000 km. For turbocharged models, let the engine idle for 2 minutes before shutdown after heavy use — this allows the coolant to carry heat away from the turbo bearings. Overheating is uncommon on modern Mercedes but can occur if the coolant level drops and is not checked.
