Cabin Filter — Mercedes & Malaysian Haze
Mercedes-Benz cabin filters should be changed every 15,000 km — but Malaysia's haze season (June–October) and urban pollution make 10,000 km more appropriate. Upgrade from the standard particulate filter to an activated carbon + HEPA combination (RM 80–180) to better handle VOCs and fine particulate from haze. The C-Class, GLC, and GLE have two-stage filtration — replace both filter elements together. A clean cabin filter also reduces A/C evaporator contamination, extending the time between evaporator cleaning services.
