WR-V RV3 evaporator is compact — same basic unit as in similar-platform City/BR-V models. Musty odours can develop even on new cars if the cabin filter is neglected and the evaporator stays damp.
Evaporator care
Preventive: change cabin filter every 15,000 km; run fan-only for 5 min before shutdown. Curative: evaporator sanitise spray (RM80–120). If refrigerant loss occurs without a visible condenser or line leak, test the evaporator under pressure. Evaporator replacement: RM700–1,200 (dashboard removal required).
