WR-V RV3 uses Honda HCF-2 CVT fluid. As a new model, many WR-V units in Malaysia are still under warranty — always verify if your CVT service should be done at a Honda authorised dealer to protect warranty, or if an authorised independent workshop can use genuine Honda HCF-2.
HCF-2 service guide
Honda HCF-2 only — not interchangeable with generic CVT fluid or HMMF. First scheduled change: 40,000 km. Capacity: approx. 5.5L drain-and-fill. CVT judder at 30–50 km/h on light acceleration is the first sign of fluid neglect. Cost: RM220–320 including fluid and labour.
