Multiple Accord generations are active in Malaysia. The most common in daily use: CP/CU (2008–2017, 2.4L 6AT) and TC10 (2018+, 1.5T CVT). They are fundamentally different vehicles.
CP/CU vs TC10 — which to choose?
CP/CU (2.4L 6AT): proven engine, smooth traditional automatic, parts widely available, no turbo complexity, no direct injection carbon risk. Weakness: older, higher mileage, some rust risk. TC10 (1.5T CVT): newer, more efficient, Honda Sensing, better resale — but CVT maintenance is critical and direct injection requires carbon cleaning. Both are excellent choices with proper maintenance.
