Accord brake discs are larger than the Civic's — the heavier car needs more braking surface. Warped discs are common when owners brake heavily then immediately park (heat soak).
Disc inspection and replacement
Inspect annually. Signs of warping: pedal pulsation, steering shimmy under braking. Minimum thickness is stamped on the disc. Replace in pairs. Front pair: RM280–450. Rear pair: RM200–320. Replace pads and discs together when pads are also worn.
