Buying a Used BMW X7 Malaysia — Checklist
X7 checklist: air suspension function (drive over speed bumps — any lean or noise), ISTA air suspension fault codes, compressor runtime hours. B58: water pump runtime, carbon score. N63: dipstick on test drive, ISTA turbo codes — if consumption confirmed, walk away. Full ISTA scan mandatory. Service history mandatory. All 4 air struts condition.
X7 Used Car Checklist
- ISTA full scan mandatory — 90+ modules in X7
- Air suspension: ride height even at all 4 corners? Compressor cycles properly?
- Test all 3 rows of seats: fold/unfold smoothly?
- Drivetrain fluid records: ATF, transfer case, front + rear diff
- Tyre condition and age: premium tyres cost RM 600–900 each — factor in
- Soft-close door mechanism: open and close all doors slowly — any grinding?
Pre-Purchase Inspection at 4M Car Care
