BMW X3 Tyre Guide Malaysia — F25/G01
F25 standard 225/55 R17 or 245/45 R18 (M Sport). G01 standard 225/60 R18 or 245/50 R19 (M Sport). Run-flat option available. Malaysia cost RM 350–800 per tyre. xDrive requires all 4 tyres same size and brand — mismatched tyres damage transfer case.

- F25 xDrive28i: 225/50 R18 or 255/45 R19 (M Sport)
- G01 xDrive30i: 245/50 R18 or 275/40 R20 (M Sport)
- G01 M40i: 265/35 R21 (standard fitment)

xDrive Tyre Matching — Critical
All four tyres on an xDrive X3 must be the same size AND within 3mm of each other in tread depth. The xDrive transfer case measures speed differences between front and rear axles to manage torque distribution — a significant size or wear mismatch causes the transfer case to interpret normal driving as wheel slip and over-engage the AWD clutch pack, leading to premature wear. Never mix tyre brands, sizes, or run-flat with non-run-flat on an X3.
