BMW X3 CBS Reset Malaysia — Service Indicator
X3 CBS tracks: engine oil, brake fluid, brake pads, vehicle check, microfilter. Each resets independently via ISTA or iDrive menu. G01 adds additional systems. Always reset CBS immediately after service — do not let multiple counters expire. Malaysia ISTA reset RM 80–120.

CBS Does Not Track xDrive Fluids
This is the most common X3 maintenance mistake: the owner relies entirely on CBS and the dashboard to tell them what to service. CBS tracks oil, brake fluid, brake pads and vehicle check — it does NOT track the transfer case, front differential, or rear differential fluid. These fluids degrade silently with no warning light on the X3. You must track them manually. Set calendar reminders at every 40,000 km or bring the X3 to us and we will track it for you.
