Buying a Used BMW X2 Malaysia — Checklist
F39 checklist: DCT shudder test (low-speed crawl in traffic), electric water pump hours via ISTA, oil separator hose condition, tyre wear pattern. U10: similar plus check latest software updates. Full ISTA scan mandatory. No N20 chain risk — X2 safest in this regard. Check coupe roof seals and trim fit.
X2 Used Car Checklist
- ISTA scan: DCT clutch wear, battery SOH, CBS counters
- DCT judder test: from cold standstill engage D — smooth?
- Check front tyre wear (FWD — inner edge wear = alignment issue)
- Check under car: oil filter housing area for B48 oil seep
Pre-Purchase Inspection at 4M Car Care
