X2 Brake Pads

City Driving and Brake Wear in Malaysia
Stop-and-go traffic in KL, PJ and Johor Bahru wears brake pads 30–40% faster than highway driving. The X2's front pads bear most of the braking load in city conditions. CBS brake pad monitoring uses a wire sensor, but in city driving the sensor can trigger before the pads are actually at minimum — check actual pad thickness at every service. Rear EPB calipers require ISTA for piston retraction during pad replacement.
