Honda Jazz GK (2015–2019) Polymann Bushing Upgrade — Front Lower Arm, Front Stabilizer Bar & Rear Axle
The Honda Jazz GK's rubber bushings across the front lower arm, front stabilizer bar, and rear torsion beam axle wear out with mileage — causing body roll, suspension noise and rear instability. Polymann offers three dedicated kits: PPPB 35852, PPPB 36121 and PPPB 36208. 4M Carcare is an authorised installer.

The Honda Jazz GK — produced from 2015 to 2019 — is one of the most practical and popular hatchbacks in Malaysia. It punches above its class in interior space and daily usability. What it does not get from the factory is a particularly firm or sporty suspension setup — which means the rubber bushings throughout the front and rear suspension work hard every day on Malaysian roads, and they wear out faster than many owners expect.
Three bushing locations on the Jazz GK
PPPB 35852 — Front Lower Arm Bushing Kit: The front lower arm is the main structural link connecting the front wheel hub to the chassis. The Jazz GK uses a MacPherson strut layout, so the lower arm is the only arm at the front — all braking, cornering and acceleration forces pass through it. When the lower arm bushings wear, the symptoms are steering imprecision, a dull knock when going over bumps, and the car feeling less planted through corners.
PPPB 36121 — Front Stabilizer Bar Bushing Kit: The front stabilizer bar (anti-roll bar) links the left and right front suspension to reduce body roll in corners. It runs across the front subframe and is held in place by two rubber clamp bushings. When these bushings crack or harden, the stabilizer bar starts to knock and rattle — a very common noise on Jazz GK hatchbacks with higher mileage. The Polymann polyurethane bushing fits more firmly in the clamp bracket, eliminating the movement that causes the knock.
PPPB 36208 — Rear Axle Bushing Kit: The Honda Jazz GK uses a torsion beam rear suspension — a single rigid beam axle that connects both rear wheels. Unlike independent rear suspension, the entire beam pivots on two large bushings at its mounting points on the car's body. When these rear axle bushings wear, the entire rear end of the car shifts slightly under cornering and braking load — giving the rear a floaty, unpredictable feel and sometimes a lateral knock. Replacing the rear axle bushings with Polymann polyurethane restores rear stability significantly.
What the Jazz GK feels like after the upgrade
Corners feel sharper — the front lower arm bushings stop the wheel geometry from shifting under load, so the Jazz tracks more precisely through bends without that slight wander.
The anti-roll bar knock disappears — this is often the most immediate and noticeable improvement. The front stabilizer bar stops rattling over road imperfections, making the ride much quieter.
The rear end feels planted — with firm polyurethane axle bushings, the torsion beam stays where it should under cornering. The rear of the car stops wandering, and the ride feels more settled overall.
Body roll reduces — with all three locations upgraded, the front stabilizer bar works more effectively (firmer bushings mean less energy lost in the clamp), and the car rolls less through corners compared to worn rubber bushings.
Wheel alignment after front bushing replacement
Replacing the front lower arm bushings on the Jazz GK changes the suspension geometry at the front pivot points. A four-wheel alignment is required after this job to bring camber and toe back to Honda's factory specification. We carry out the alignment check as part of every bushing installation at 4M Carcare.
