Ford Ranger T6/T7 (2011–2018) Polymann Bushing Upgrade — Front Double Wishbone and Rear Leaf Spring, Fully Covered
The Ford Ranger T6 and T7 are among Malaysia's most popular and hard-working pickups. Polymann covers nine bushing positions for the T6/T7: front upper arm (with standard and two aftermarket arm options), front lower arm, front absorber, front stabilizer bar, rear leaf spring, rear spring pad, and an aftermarket rear leaf spring (OME) option. 4M Carcare is an authorised installer.

The Ford Ranger T6 and T7 — produced from 2011 to 2018 — are among the most commonly seen and most heavily used pickups on Malaysian roads. They carry loads on construction sites, tow trailers, run daily commutes, and handle weekend off-road tracks. The T6/T7's suspension is built for this dual life: a double wishbone independent front end for steering precision and highway composure, and a live rear axle with leaf springs for load capacity and durability. With nine bushing positions across the front and rear — including options for aftermarket upper arms and aftermarket OME leaf springs — the Ranger T6/T7 has one of the most complete Polymann coverage sets of any pickup on the market.
Front suspension — 4 standard kits
PPPB 35803 — Front Upper Arm Bushing Kit: The upper arm is the shorter of the two arms in the double wishbone layout, and its bushings control the camber geometry of the front wheels. On a pickup truck regularly used on rough roads, the upper arm bushings are under constant stress from the larger suspension travel the T6/T7 takes through off-road terrain. Worn upper arm bushings cause camber change under load, reduced steering sharpness, and a knock or creak from the front suspension.
PPPB 35858 — Front Lower Arm Bushing Kit: The lower arm is the primary structural member in the front double wishbone — wider, heavier, and handling the majority of braking and cornering forces. The T6/T7's lower arm has large bushing points designed to handle the loads of a capable 4×4 pickup. Over time and hard use, these bushings wear — introducing front-end wander under braking, uneven front tyre wear, and a general looseness in the front suspension that can be felt through the steering wheel.
PPPB 35881 — Front Absorber Bushing Kit: The front shock absorbers are mounted at their upper and lower ends through rubber bushings. On a pickup that sees off-road use, these bushings work through a much wider range of suspension travel and absorber articulation than on a passenger car. Worn absorber bushings add vibration and resonance into the chassis, cause fine knocking sounds at the absorber mounts on rough surfaces, and can reduce the effectiveness of the shock absorber itself by allowing unwanted movement at the mount.
PPPB 36014 — Front Stabilizer Bar Bushing Kit: The front anti-roll bar runs across the front of the Ranger connecting both front wheels through drop links. Its chassis mounting bushings hold the bar in position and allow it to rotate as the suspension moves. On a pickup truck that is regularly cornered at highway speeds or pushed on off-road tracks, worn stabilizer bar bushings cause body roll to increase and introduce a knock or clunk during independent wheel movement — particularly noticeable when one wheel drops into a rut or over a rock.
Front upper arm aftermarket options
PPPB 35793 / PPPB 35803 (Aftermarket V1 / V2) — Front Upper Arm Bushing Kit (Aftermarket Options): Many Ranger T6/T7 owners fit aftermarket upper arms for improved geometry during a lift, for greater articulation off-road, or to replace damaged OEM arms. Aftermarket upper arms often use a different bushing bore size or mount geometry compared to the OEM arm. Polymann offers two aftermarket upper arm bushing options — V1 (PPPB 35793) and V2 (PPPB 35803) — to cover the most common aftermarket upper arm configurations for the T6/T7. If your Ranger runs aftermarket upper arms, confirm which version fits your specific arm before ordering.
Rear suspension — leaf spring kits
PPPB 35796 — Rear Leaf Spring Bushing Kit: The T6/T7's solid rear axle is suspended by multi-leaf springs. Each leaf spring has an eye at each end — a loop through which the spring is mounted to the chassis via a rubber bushing. These eye bushings allow the spring to pivot as it flexes under load and over rough ground. On a truck that regularly carries heavy loads or travels on corrugated plantation roads, the rear leaf spring eye bushings wear faster than on a lightly used vehicle. Worn eye bushings cause a knocking from the rear axle, imprecise rear-end tracking, and increase the stress on the leaf spring itself.
PPPB 35885 — Rear Spring Pad Bushing Kit: Between each individual leaf in a multi-leaf spring pack, there are rubber or polyurethane pads. These pads prevent metal-to-metal contact between leaves, reduce friction noise, and help the leaves flex smoothly as a unit. When the spring pads wear out, the leaves begin to rub against each other directly — producing a squeaking or grinding sound from the rear that is especially audible when the truck is loaded or hitting bumps. Replacing the spring pad bushings eliminates this noise and restores smooth, quiet spring flex.
PPPB 35932 — Rear Leaf Spring (OME) Bushing Kit (Aftermarket): Old Man Emu (OME) is one of the most popular aftermarket leaf spring upgrades for the Ranger T6/T7 — widely fitted for lifted trucks and those used on serious off-road terrain. OME springs use a different spring eye diameter compared to the OEM Ford leaf springs, so a different bushing kit is required. PPPB 35932 is Polymann's dedicated kit for Ranger T6/T7 trucks fitted with OME rear leaf springs.
