Coolant & radiator care — before it overheats
The cooling system is your engine's lifeline. Here's how often to change coolant and care for the radiator to prevent overheating.

In hot Malaysia, the cooling system works hard. Keeping it healthy effectively prevents engine overheating and big repair bills.
How often to change coolant?
Generally every 2 years or about 40,000 km (depending on coolant type and factory advice). Coolant degrades and forms deposits over time.
Daily checks
Regularly check the coolant tank level is between MIN–MAX.
Watch for coolant (often green/red/blue) leaks on the ground.
Check whether the temperature gauge runs high.
Advice
If the level drops fast or the temp runs high, come in soon to check the radiator, water pump and lines — don't wait until it overheats.
