Car hard to start? It could be these reasons
Turn the key and nothing, or it cranks several times? From battery to starting system, here are the common causes.

Hard starting is a very common call for help. The cause could be electrical, fuel-related, or in the starting system.
Common causes
Old or flat battery — the most common, often with dim lights and weak cranking.
Faulty alternator — battery won't charge, stalls after running a while.
Starter motor issue — only a click when you turn the key.
Worn spark plugs or ignition system.
Fuel system (pump, injectors) problems.
Advice
Start with a quick battery and charging-system test, then check the starter and ignition as needed. 4M CARCARE offers a free battery test.
