Audi Audi Q7 Workshop Cases Malaysia
The Audi Q7 4L (2006–2015) and 4M (2015+) are large 3-row SUVs.

Case 1: Q7 4L 3.0T — Air Suspension + Coupler (95,000 km)
Q7 4L 3.0 TFSI, 95,000 km: front-left sitting lower overnight, intermittent compressor noise. VCDS: valve block valve 2 fault. Simultaneously: supercharger coupler rattle at cold start. Addressed both: valve block replacement (RM 2,600) + coupler + belt (RM 3,200). Compressor checked — within spec, saved. Total: RM 5,800. Car holds height perfectly. Catching the valve block early saved the compressor.
Case 2: Q7 4M 3.0T — Diff Fluids (70,000 km)
Q7 4M 3.0 TFSI, 70,000 km: routine oil service. VCDS: no faults. Service history: Tiptronic, centre Torsen diff, and rear diff never serviced — all fluids dark and degraded. Combined: Tiptronic (RM 680) + centre diff SAF-XO (RM 380) + rear diff SAF-XO (RM 280). Carbon inspection: moderate — walnut blast scheduled at 80,000 km. Total fluids: RM 1,340. Owner understood the preventive value versus a failed gearbox.
